PROSS: Mutating Position 416 in Human Acetylcholinesterase
The movie illustrates the structural modeling done in the PROSS design algorithm.
It shows a set of snapshots from mutation modeling in position 416 in human acetylcholinesterase.
Out of 20 amino acids, only nine amino acids are favored according to a phylogenetic analysis.
These nine are therefore modeled on the wild type background using the Rosetta software.
For simplicity, out of these nine amino acids, the modeling of six is shown here (including the wild type Glycine).
